Andy_rwalker
Dear forum members, I hope you can shed some light on the miracle I have. Initial state: I have MacOS Sonoma migrated, thanks to your help, from Intel to AMD platform. (AMD Ryzen 7700 and MSI x670e gaming plus wifi) Latest OpenCore 1.0.5 and latest versions of kext files which are in use. Sonoma properly boots. Everything works like a charm. However I cannot upgrade it either to Sequoia or Tahoe. I cannot make a fresh installation of Sequoia or Tahoe either (using same EFI). In place upgrade gives no errors, reboots my current MacOS however no new item got created in OpenCore boot picker to continue upgrade, Once booted to the current MacOS also no continuation of previous installation. If doing fresh installation from USB stick and with target being another APFS volume it simply stuck at certain moment. Installation logs from upgrade procedure or from fresh install doesn't show any errors per se. In-place installation logs looks like everything was going fine until it was cancelled by softwareupdated(see more in full logs attached) Fresh installation logs looks like everything was fine and just reboot didn't happen automatically. But when finally I reboot the computer no new item in OpenCore boot picker is present. So there is no installation progress. Installation logs screen when it is already frozen. Like I said, no error. Looks like it's completed operation and exiting. So I wonder what is wrong with my system? Is it cursed? Thank you.
