So Far were using THIS* Build to install the Beta Version of OpenCore thatll boot Tahoe

no problems:

https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/actions/runs/16423650721

Sequoia Issues or in General OpenCORE: ASPP-Override, ECM-Override, CpuFriend, SimpleMSR... : These generally let you Select a Different Driver...

so if for example your using ASPP-Override you can probably use LegacyAppleIntelCpuPowerManagement.kext and thats what it loading AppleSMC is doing..

ECM-Override is if your using an iPhone ok thats fine but any other tethering device its not fine.. SimpleMSR/CpuFriend if your using a Different

Power Management Kext... thats the only time it applies i dont think it is supposed to work on a real mac... but these are all my guesses and

it does influence GPU Power Management as well....  so while preparing your configuration id just keep in mind that removing these might

be beneficial .....

We Install this OpenCore Beta and then Open OpenCore ... Click Settings: theres some things we cant use yet/dont want...:

Boot Picker TImeout should be 30 .... unless you want instant boot some wont and would want to clean their nvram:

Uncheck Disable CPUFriend , We'll be not using it entirely...

Acquire the InstallAssistant.pkg for your Install:

-> Were going to set aside a 32GB partition for a CLEAN INSTALL<-

use the createinstallmedia program to copy this installer to disk<-

and were going to use OpenCore to BOOT this installer...

Click Advanced and Uncheck: Disable Firmware Throtttling

Feature Unlock should be disabled,

Leave Security as it is this is required defaults to boot macOS, install, and run it..

SMBIOS dont touch anything its defaults are required to boot install and run macOS...

Root Patching should be blank as we cant....

and under APP: Disable Reporting should be Checked...

and thats the ONLY thing that should be checked there...

so now click return and build and install opencore...

Install it specifically to the EFI Partition and were going to work on it in a second:

So now that its installed open terminal and type:
diskutil mount disk0s1 should be your EFI partition...

Remove from /KEXTS

AirportBrcmFixup.kext , CatalinaIntelI210Ethernet.kext, ECM-Override.kext, IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext IOSkywalkFamily.kext

Open we'll for now use OpenCore Auxillary Tools to just Mock together something to be able to install with:

we can clean up the drivers and install usbmap , remove the ones we removed and remove the Microsoft EFI Blessing Entry its complaining about<-

after this all the edits to config.plist will be just to make it the same configuration as a hackintosh build... all the minimum required

defaults for this specific chipset Kabylake ....  save and exit and is it is now we SHOULD be able to boot and install macOS Tahoe..

if you want to make a spare partition to keep some temporary files youll be moving thats HIGHLY recommended... as id be having

to reboot now myself

will be back for specifics on changing opencores config file

Once its back up this is your Post Install Guide:

==============================================

Follow this link as to why you have to build OpenCore 3.0 BETA yourself:

Follow this link to fix HDA and there you go:

Follow this link to fix WiFi and there you go:

Follow this link to fix USB and there you go:

Fix Performance Isues: 1.  I recommend disabling everything possible in settings (hotkeys, down to extensions, notifications but only on lock screen etc... so that

macOS isnt Bugged to do something in more areas than be necessary) along with this so heavy settings tweaking and then this: for example

I only have 8gb of ram but can run Logic Pro no problem:

and here it looks like its working I think I see sound and wifi on!:
