I am running Ventura on a Z97. Been working perfectly.

I got a second SSD onto which I am trying to install Sequoia.

I am using OpenCore No_ACPI variant as I'm also booting Linux.

The strange problem I am running into is this:

1. After creating the USB Sequoia Installer using Balena Etcher, I then copy my current working Ventura EFI onto the EFI partition of the USB installer

2. I reset NVRAM

3. Selected the USB Installer

4. On verbose mode

5. Those lines of message does not scroll rapidly along like when I boot Ventura but it got like kinda stuck at a few point with long wait BUT it eventually got onto the Apple Installation menu

6. However, using the Disk utility on the installation menu, I CANNOT see my SSD. The disk util only sees the USB installer.

What am I doing wrong??

Obviously I booted back into Ventura to write this. So my current kext are:

I was hoping at least it installs so that I can use OCLP patcher to get things going...but has been pulling my hair out

using MacPro 7,1 SMBIOS
