Zevgoli Posted October 5, 2025 Share Posted October 5, 2025 I have the same issue and I have tried fgxr8 solutions. I tried the alcid=11 in boot args and this didn’t work either. Sound did work under initial Tahoe install but after upgrading to 26.0.1 it’s disappeared. Any other suggestions? Cheers, Howard Hi Zevgoli, May I ask for your EFI of Tahoe, my acer Aspire E1-472 / i5-4200U / HD4400 can finish the installation of Tahoe via OC, but can't boot to the first booting to select the language screen, and always got a black screen and mouse point, Thanks. Hey, So an update on sound. I went out and bought a Sabrent USB sound adapter for $10. It works perfectly without any installation issues. Hey crazybirdy here is my config.plist. Hope it helps.
