Hi. I'm trying to boot macOS 10.13 installer. With HDMI output it works perfectly, but with DVI-I (analog) right after IOConsoleUsers screen goes black. -raddvi doesn't help.

PC Config:

Ryzen 5 3600

MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus

Asus R9 270x DirectCU II 2GB

32GB RAM

Bootargs: -v debug=0x100 keepsyms=1 -raddvi

Try this EFI attached, see if the situation changes.

I am not certain you need all those patches in Kernel/Patch, 21 in total.

Then again I am not familiar with Ryzen builds so I maybe wrong.

Good luck.

Nope, black screen is still there.

Are you also running with a dedicated Graphics Card?

If you are maybe you need to enable the setting in the BIOS for Display Port.

On my MSI Z490 there are two settings for graphics, one for CPU integrated and the other for dedicated card (a card you fitted yourself).

You need to enable the one your monitor is connected to. It's obvious if you're just getting a video signal with HDMI, you need to switch over to get a signal to the  DV Ports.

I have only GPU - R9. Ryzen 5 3600 doesn't have iGPU.

Not sure why you've got VoodooPS2 in there but try setting the FB via device properties (Hamachi).

Device Properties - GPU path. On my system it's PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x3,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

You can get this path in Windows from this tool CorpNewt made, https://github.com/corpnewt/CheckPCI

Once you've added that add these properties. They are listed here as Key | Data Type | Value

@0,name         String          ATY,Hamachi

@1,name          String          ATY,Hamachi

@2,name         String          ATY,Hamachi

@3,name          String         ATY,Hamachi

device_type     String          ATY,HamachiParent

Hopefully that'll work. Also I'd use MacPro7,1 over 6,1.
