Virtualball
How exactly do people crack mac apps? I know they do it with a hex editor and all but how do they generally know what to change? Like heres an example for CS3: Removed by Bond How did they know to go to that offset? I'm sorry if this is not allowed, if it isn't, you can just delete it, thanks! Sorry, but although this is purely a hex adress, it is essentially still instructions to circumvent Adobe's activation system, and thus, illegal. Google is your friend here! asap18
anyway i think its alright if i answer your question, hopefully. It involves debugging the app and replacing the subroutine to skip over the area of code meant to protect the app. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36138-question-about-cracking/#findComment-257195 Share on other sites
