Vuzang
Hello, i cant post on intel graphics, so here i am. Is there any possibility of using firmware from linux i915 https://github.com/intel-gpu/intel-gpu-i915-backports ? I was thinking about backporting driver, i imean linux can run the intel xe using older driver (UHD 630) and xe driver can run UHD 630 (backport). What if we do the same think with AppleIntelFramebuffer.kext, can we inject the xe driver into that kext and act like UHD 630? I think that firmware have interface for display engine logic and memory controllers Edited May 31, 2025 by alex ringo update Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361132-intel-iris-xe-linux-driver-i915/ Share on other sites
