Kanishka Sen
I followed tlucks clover and I ended up with 4 screens during high sierra install but every time I try to install it it says it was unable to connect to the recovery server. I have made the usb stick using gibmacos. When I used oc instead of clover it crashes after the apple logo when I select the dmg. Normal open core efi made by me and having the com.apple folder boot loops back to oc. Can someone please tell me the step by step guide I should follow to install hack. Having oc would be lovely. verdazil
@Kanishka Sen, if it says it can't connect, it really can't. When installing this version of macOS, you must have a working Internet connection - at least one, not necessarily both. https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Intel-Network Edited February 11 by verdazil Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360663-t420-hackintosh-help/#findComment-2830372 Share on other sites

The beauty of this app is it will place all necessary files and kexts in the EFI Folder to get you to the Desktop. Just follow the prompts faithfully and when done copy the EFI Folder to be used on macOS. FirstTimeCustomac
If you are trying to install HS using recovery method. You need to update the Software Update URL. Have a read here and try the fix #3. Basically run below command in terminal then proceed with installation. nvram IASUCatalogURL="http://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.13-10.12-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog" 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360663-t420-hackintosh-help/#findComment-2830466 Share on other sites

I directly went for OC instead while copying to ESP folder and it's booting from OC!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!
