Lost-Entrepreneur439 Posted January 31, 2025 Share Posted January 31, 2025 I recently found this old thing in storage, and decided to give Hackintoshing it a shot, I decided to go with Snow Leopard as I know from past experience that Lion isn't great on GMA and Lion is the latest that has GMA support, however after the verbose, it just shows a blank screen with a white square, as seen here. I also tried Lion and the same thing happened. I ended up just throwing in my old 2400 PRO, which sadly only goes up to Leopard (NOT snow leopard) maximum, however after installing, I tried taking the 2400 PRO out and booting with the GMA, and Leopard did actually bring me to the desktop, but despite having acceleration (no screen tearing, transparency effects working), my screen resolution was stuck at 800x600. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the GMA 950 working in Snow Leopard?
