ahirreddy Posted October 18, 2005 Share Posted October 18, 2005 Durring boot up, (1st time), during the apple logo i get a cross. A circle with a line through it. Like no smoking. I did a safe start up and it didn't work. I did a verbose startup to see that it stops at something like firewire unrecoverable error. I thing that when I did the install using the dd method the tiger-x86-flat.img was used once but shut down in the middle. I again used the same image all the way through this time. Is it the image that was bad. A bad firewire card or can I do something to fix it.
