bencuri
I have installed El Capitan on my old Probook 6570b. It works great, USB soundcard wokrs, but there is no built in audio that I need sometimes. How can I make it work? I saw methods rewriting some port numbers or what in config.plist but I don't want to ruin my system, I have important stuff on it. I used this guide and the tools (Clover) mentioned to install it: https://web.archive.org/web/20160617022707/https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-install-10-11-on-hp-elitebook-probook-others-with-clover-uefi.168236/ My machine: Probook 6570b i5-320M CPU Intel 7 R series chipset C216 (how do I check mother board???) Sound: I have no idea because at the info page they only write: IDT High definition Audio, Windows writes the same: https://support.hp.com/hu-hu/drivers/swdetails/hp-probook-6570b-notebook-pc/5212927/swItemId/ob-115135-2 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360290-el-capitan-on-probook-6570b-no-buil-in-audio/ Share on other sites
