Ginger Geek
I recently bought and old HP z-440 given that for 200£ I got 18 cores and 64GB RAM in a complete system AND Hackintosh-able .... BUT the thing keeps freezing up. The only common factor I can find is in the Diagnostic reports of excessive disk writes around the time of each crash. Now I am not sure if this is Hardware or OS or maybe a config issue. I attach here complete EFI, diagnostic logs folder, IO Reg... [GUESS I WILL UPLOAD THESE LATER SINCE 10mb LIMIT]. Something to note, I could not get my board to work with an MX500 crucial SSD. Now I previously put this down to that fact that it was... well, an MX500 POS. Now not so sure since it works in my iMac and my rendering machine just fine. Slightly concerned that my hardware is faulty! EFI.zip ..... EDIT: after working this out my writes were about 73.68 times the allowed limit.....
