What is the difference between Unlocker and Auto-unlocker for VMWare Workstation 17?

The doubt is that I have to research this difference to know about the functions to unlock Apple operating systems, such as macOS. Currently it has already released the new Sequoia OS update, version 15 from Apple. My problem is that I am trying to improve in the virtual machine, after searching on YouTube and Google so I can fix the wallpaper bug that only affects VMWare Workstation, the same thing happened to the previous version of Sonoma 14.

The other problem is that when I install the VMWare Tools, it is very slow to boot the virtual machine, as I am working on a laptop with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz and Intel UHD Graphics 620. Normally when I see on YouTube, the instructions of the steps to install in the virtual machine, it installs the VMWare Tools and has no boot problems and goes well as fast and not slow. Something that I do not understand the problem of VMWare Tools that boots bad macOS. It affects all versions of macOS with the use of VMWare Tools.

I hope you understand me well, because this explanation is a bit complicated that I am trying to improve the VMWare Workstation virtual machine. Also, I am Spanish and I have problems with English grammar, being a deaf person. I would appreciate your thanks with my doubts to solve.

Great explanation! I appreciate the clarity on the differences between Unlocker and Auto-unlocker for VMware. I’m also facing similar issues with macOS performance. Thanks for the tips!
