Can't boot MacOS after install

I'm using HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop, and I'm attempting to Dual Boot both Windows XP and Mac OS X86. I have installed it from a tiger-x86-flat.img image using DD for Windows app and am using the Darwin bootloader, and it boots up to the White Mac Startup screen with the apply in the middle, and the loading thing shows up, but it does nothing for a while, then all of the sudden a little circle with a cross through it pops up, like ya know, the no smoking symbol, but without the cigarette. I've left it for hours, and it still won't boot, I can boot into windows fine, but it just stays on the white startup screen for a while then gives me that picture. Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can fix it?

P.S. tried "-v" switch and here's what I get:
