hectoruelo
Hi, I bought the components from this github repo https://github.com/vncsmnl/EFI-HUANANZHI-X99-BD4-HACKINTOSH/tree/main The only apparent difference in hardware is the GPU, the repo uses an RX 6600 and I´m trying boot catalina using my old rx 580. (This theoretically shouldn't be a problem since the RX is one of the best compatible graphics cards for hackintosh). Another possible difference (which I don't think it is but I don't know what to think anymore) is that I am not using macOS Catalina from macrecovery, but I am using a catalina install from my old mac). After a sucesfull instalation my intention is update to sonoma. When booting I got the dreaded [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] as you can see in the log opencore-2024-06-27-201038.txt . I have even added the USBInjectAll.kext as suggested in this link https://github.com/dortania/bugtracker/issues/110 I'm going a little crazy, I don't know what else to do, I'm even thinking about buying the rx 6600. Here mi tree tree.txt and my config.plist config.plist Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edited June 27 by hectoruelo
MaLd0n
Try this EFI x99.zip -Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead -Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen
hectoruelo
I just tried that EFI and same problem as [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START]. I don't understand, the github repo works for a lot of people ... Maybe it's time to buy the RX 6600 ....

MaLd0n
Do u change many things on bios/uefi? Try with default settings.
hectoruelo
I have reviewed the settings of the github repository as well as those of oralina several times, I have also tried the defaults and the error persists. Do you think that the difference in the graph has something to do with it? Maybe the GPU BIOS?
