Juan Schwartz
I was dual-booting 2003 eXPerience edition and OS X 10.4.7 on my AMD 64 box without a problem. I had some issues with my windows install and was forced to re-install. If I set my Mac OS X partition active, it will boot into OS X via the Darwin Bootloader. When I attempt to choose windows from the bootloader, it says "DISK BOOT FAILURE, PLEASE....". The same is true when I put my Windows partition as active instead of OS X. One way I can get into Windows is by telling my PC to boot from the DVD drive using the BIOS' Boot Menu at POST and then not pressing a key when it says "Press any key to boot from CD...". That will force the Windows install to load. I'm guessing it's an MBR issue. I have loaded the recovery console and run "bootcfg /rebuild", "fixmbr" and "fixboot" all to no avail. Anyone here had a similar issue? I'd really like my Windows available without being ghetto about it with the "boot from CD workaround" stated above.
