I'm on Big Sur, wifi is working with Airport.Atheros40 / HS80211Familly kexts (AR9462 chipset). Installation was complicated: ApplePS2 for Keyboard / Trackpad. Actually I haven't found a solution for Bluetooth. It' working with Monterey 😀 . I had 2 SSID for same frequency, connecting with first one from the scan gives automatc connect. You need the 3 kexts,+ SSDT-ARPT.dsl, then apply OCLP-mod for legacy wireless but it is in chineese language.
