i run Mac OSX x86 on,

CDJ 2.8

Intel 915 chipset MB

512mb ddr

WD360

Pioneer DVD-RW 110

in Cmos,

i have enable "USB keyboard support" & "USB mouse support"

so that i can use KB in DOS

At the first installation,

i boot from Moc OSX x86 DVD (seems the latest one)

in the darwin countdown menu "enter" or "F8"

the USB keyboard doesn't work

th darwin countdown to next menu, which need "any key" to install mac osx x86

the USB keyboard doesn't work

and stuck here ...

anyone know the solution?

In my BIOS I have to activate "USB legacy support" or something to get the usb keyboard working in darwin bootloader.

Or you can use a PS2 keyboard for installation (come on, they are laying around everywhere...), later you can switch back to your original keyboard.

oh ... my board doesn't have "USB legacy support" option

but i do have another the same PC like yours (CD have 326? or 325?)

any wireless KB set with PS/2?

For a lot of laptop "USB legacy support" is always enable and isn't disabled in the bios...

if tigerX86 detect "USB legacy support" enable it enable USB keyboard!

The only solution i find is delete USB fonction by delete IOUSBFamily.kext in /System/Library/Extensions !!

if your ps2 keyboard doesn't work and you don't have USB keyboar use "Keyboard Viewer" (like windows) in system preferences > International > Input Menu and click on "Keyboard Viewer"!!
