miliuco
Good morning. Since a few days ago, I see fskit getting high cpu usage on Sonoma. I haven't made changes to the hardware. The software is Sonoma 14.2.1 + Xcode 15.2. No new app. As far as I know, I don't remember this issue in the past. Unloading the process (SIP disabled for this), it restarts almost inmediately. Does it happens to someone else? I don't find info about how to avoid it. From macOS Manpages >> System Administration Tools and Daemons: NAME fskitd — FSKit mount manager and mount support DESCRIPTION fskitd is the FSKit mount management and mount support daemon. It manages the FSKit mount life cycle and coordinating with other daemons. It also translates requests from the kernel LIFS file system to the user space file system servers backing volumes. fskitd is invoked invoked by launchd(8) when volume creation is requested or when previously-created volumes are detected. FILES /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.fskitd.plist Note: on Sonoma the plist file is in /System/Library/LaunchDemons.
