Poochie
Hi, I searched a bit but I couldn't find exactly what I think could be out there: Some universal binaries simply won't work (like ViewIt) and I think they should be patched but I got no idea of where to get the codes or what. I have a patcher application on my installation root directory but it only works for the already supplied applications/codes! By the way my install is the commond AMD 10.4.8 test1 with autoupdated kernel from http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=32827&st=0 Thanks! Kaspers
It must be a problem with Rosetta (I had that too). Look if the apps are PPC (just right click -> get info), if they are, you've got a prob with rosetta. Patching for AMD is not needed as far as I know. Rammjet
Until you find a patcher, run the app under Rosetta. Right-click on the app, select Get Info, check the checbox for Run under Rosetta. jaminmc
Some programs have a intel check in the info.plist that you need to edit out. Just remove it, and it should work. Poochie
Some programs have a intel check in the info.plist that you need to edit out. Just remove it, and it should work. From what I see in the plist file this doesn't seem to be the case. Is there an archive of patchable apps? PS: It used to work with rosetta, but after autoquitting due to the Intel check, not it won't even run with Rosetta. I also tried a de-universalized version of the app and nothing changed!
