Hello friends I updated to Sonoma my laptop: MSI Modern 15 A10M. On Ventura everything works well (graphics, BT, Wifi ...).

After loading logo I get black screen on my internal display: Intel UHD 630 (Comet Lake-U GT2). Sonoma show it on System Settings->Display. After 3-4 minutes automatically display video.

If I connect an external hdmi monitor, it works well and show video.

I have OC 0.9.7

Attach config.plist and Mac specs.

Thanks for your help.

@rubenmr

¡Al fin! igfxmpc is a WhateverGreen boot arg that increases max pixel clock (as an alternative to patching CoreDisplay.framework).

I don’t see the exact relationship with your issue but looking for a fix I found posts from users whose laptop screen was black (external screen working) due to something related to the refresh rate and this boot arg had fixed the problem.

Enjoy!

@Max.1974

This sometimes is a different thing. There are laptops that drive external HDMI display only with lid closed. Even there are models that only do it when plugged to the power. Try yours and I hope this boot arg also fix your issue.

Hi my dear friend, im fix that when im take a look on BIOS configuration and check a two options to get Display Boot: LCD and HDMI!!

My bad, sorry!! Im fix that finally!!! Now when boot, already run from HDMI  @ 60 Hz  with LID Open!!

I have been pass a long time study from Git Hub WhateverGreen Manual Info about Intel UHD 620

Hello everyone, taking advantage of some finer adjustments, I got HDMI recognized and two screens, with the lid open and the best, 4K on Youtube 2160p60 without glitches or freezing. Very interesting that -igfxmlr gave me a problem, not boot on LCD normally, and without this boot-arg it natively gave 4K, like Ultrawide Monitor 3440x1440 and 60Hz. Both screens works together.
