Nazmul Amin Parag
I installed Sonoma 14.1.1 on my pc. But the problem is sometimes there is no signal in monitor after boot. Then I force shut down the pc by switching off the psu and after that pc boots properly. I enabled debug logging to look into the matter. It says "This system was automatically rebooted after panic" in the text file. I attached the text file and my EFI in the link. Someone, help me kindly. Double-check that you have the necessary kexts and drivers for your components. You can refer to the OpenCore Install Guide for detailed instructions on setting up your EFI. Ensure that you are using the latest version of OpenCore. Newer versions often include bug fixes and improvements that can help resolve boot issues. You can find the latest version on the OpenCore Resources page . Make sure your BIOS settings are correctly configured for macOS. Check that your SATA mode is set to AHCI, and disable any unnecessary features like Secure Boot or CSM. Verify that your GPU settings are compatible with macOS. You may need to adjust settings like the framebuffer or device ID to ensure proper GPU recognition. Refer to the OpenCore documentation for guidance on configuring your GPU. ArcaneRhapsody
Given your PC specs, especially with the Ryzen CPU and AMD GPU, it's crucial to ensure that your EFI is correctly configured. AMD systems require specific kernel patches for macOS compatibility. I recommend revisiting your EFI configuration, particularly the kernel patches, to ensure they are up-to-date and suitable for your Ryzen 5 5600. Also, double-check your GPU settings in the EFI. AMD GPUs usually work well with macOS, but they sometimes need specific configurations to function correctly. Since your EFI link isn't accessible, it's hard to give specific advice. If you can make it available, it would be easier for the community to provide more targeted help. Phill Jones
It sounds like you're experiencing a kernel panic on your Hackintosh system running macOS Sonoma 14.1.1, which results in your PC rebooting unexpectedly and occasionally displaying no signal on your monitor after boot. Kernel panics can be caused by various issues, including hardware incompatibility, faulty drivers, or misconfigured system settings. To address this, first ensure all your hardware components are compatible with macOS Sonoma, and check for any recent updates or community feedback regarding compatibility. Make sure your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI is up to date, as updates can resolve potential compatibility issues. Update your essential kexts and bootloader configurations, such as Lilu.kext, WhateverGreen.kext, VirtualSMC.kext, and AppleALC.kext, to their latest versions. Also, verify that your SMBIOS settings are correctly configured, with iMacPro1,1 or MacPro7,1 being common choices for your CPU. Review the panic log for specific kexts or processes that might indicate the source of the problem. Ensure your BIOS settings are correctly configured for macOS, including disabling CSM, enabling Above 4G Decoding, disabling Secure Boot, and setting SATA Mode to AHCI. Experiment with different boot flags like `-v` (verbose mode), `-x` (safe mode), or `-no_compat_check` to help diagnose or bypass issues. Confirm that your monitor is properly connected to the GPU and not the motherboard’s video outputs, as integrated graphics might not be supported. Running hardware diagnostics, such as MemTest86 for memory and manufacturer-specific tools for SSD health, can help identify any underlying hardware problems. Additionally, consider seeking support from Hackintosh communities such as tonymacx86, Reddit’s r/hackintosh, or InsanelyMac, providing your specs, the panic log, and details of what you’ve tried so far. By following these steps, you should be able to identify the cause of the kernel panic and find a solution to get your system running smoothly. Rohit045
You're likely facing a macOS kernel panic on boot due to compatibility or misconfiguration in your EFI. Check your OpenCore settings—especially Misc > Security > SecureBootModel, and ensure your RX6600XT has proper agdpmod=pikera boot arg. Also, update all kexts and use latest OpenCore version. Double-check BIOS settings too (CSM off, Above 4G decoding on). lilly parkerpro parkerpro
Sounds like a display detection issue after the update. Try switching the cable or port and booting with the monitor already connected. You can also reset NVRAM or start in Safe Mode to rule out graphics problems. In most cases, the system is running fine—it just isn’t picking up the display correctly.
