Ginger Geek
Hi. I would like to know if there is functionality in open core to pick between separate config.plists before boot. I want to have two installs on separate drives. -One drive with Sierra to use Nvidia GPU (web drivers) to drive display, and the iGPU headless. SMBIOS iMac15,1 -Second drive with Monterey (dGPU -wegnogpu) with iGPU driving display. SMBIOS iMac18,3 Is there a way currently of setting a single OpenCore EFI in BIOS, and selecting between 1 of 2 (or more) config.plist. The only difference between the EFIs is config.plist (SMBIOS and AAPL,ig-platform-id and boot-arg -wegnogpu). Everything else is the same. If this is possible, I would like to try it to see if it can be made simple, and more elegant compared to mashing the F8 key trying to remember what HDD has what EFI image on it. cankiulascmnfye
No. Use Clover in this case. It can now also assign different SMBIOS to different versions of macOS: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304530-clover-change-explanations/page/8/#comment-2806690 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/358009-selecting-configplists-in-opencore/#findComment-2813300 Share on other sites
