alcium
I use my Hackintosh quite well with My main ATI card, but it misses a secondary screen though. While it crashes when using the secondary port of my ATI card, I thought about using an old Matrox PCI card for the secondary screen, it is recognized as follows in system profiler display: Type: VGA-Compatible Controller Bus: PCI Slot: PCI2 Vendor ID: 0x102b Device ID: 0x0519 Revision ID: 0x0001 but no display comes through it. I could not find any info on this, but is it possible to load a really basic VGA Driver (no acceleration of any sort, any resolution would do, and whatever color adjusting is ok...) ? The card is very old (Matrox Millenium 1st edition, 2 MB VRAM) and I think any standard VGA Driver could do it. Any help is appreciated Thanks You need more info on My Hackintosh, don't hesitate, I'll quickly edit my post to fill it :-D Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35713-using-a-basic-pci-vga-card-for-secondary-monitor/ Share on other sites

gotoh
I don't know about the rest of your setup, but you could switch to an nvidia card wich most likely will support dual display with latest natit in 10.4.8 / 8.8.1 kernel...
