OSx86 as a replacement OS/Toshiba Laptop

Greetings to all!

I have the following Laptop that I'm basically free to use as a testbed here:

Toshiba Tecra A3

Intel i915GM Onboard Graphics

1GB RAM

40GB Hard Drive

Toshiba CDRW Burner

Intel Onboard IPW2200 Wireless

Some sort of Intel "Generic" Soundcard in the chipset

Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet

I don't care about the Marvell card, I'd be fine with a PCMCIA ethernet card. Wireless isn't nessessary.

Basically, I want to blow the laptop away, install OS X **completly** to the drive, and run Mac Office 2004, Adobe CS (CS2 when I upgrade), and Macromedia Studio 8 for my work under Rosetta.

I'm not looking for blistering speed, this thing is only a Pentium M 1.6ghz, but I'd like to know- Are there any forseeable problems running the laptop with OS x86 (SSE2 patches), and Rosetta?

I'm just trying to figure out if I'm wasting my time, and if I might brick my Laptop and cost myself a days worth of work to repair the thing.

Thanks!
