Slice
VoodooHDA is a quite different story. Don't say "same issue". Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357042-alc287-no-internal-speakers-and-mics/#findComment-2807180 Share on other sites
Crald
It was supposed to be a simple cure for the lack of sound, but it also does not perform as well as AppleALC. I've even compare coefs and change from working Linux and still no sound. How can I get log from VoodooHDA? Slice
There is getdump utility in the voodoohda repo. Else you may use DarwinDumper which contains the kext and the dumper inside. Crald
No sound at all. ---------------------------------------- VoodooHDA Codec: Realtek [Unknown] [10ec:0287] Controller: Intel Corporation Comet Lake PCH cAVS VoodooHDAGetdump.txt And dump from Linux Linux working Dump.txt Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357042-alc287-no-internal-speakers-and-mics/#findComment-2807203 Share on other sites
Slice
See you. Your codec chip contains only one output because realtek 2xx. The digit 2 mean 2 channel stereo output. So internal speaker or headset. We can do automatic switch. If jack is inserted then hedset will work else internal speaker. To do this we have to set node 33 to be 0321101F May be same about microphone do node 25 to be 03a1102F An node 18 to be 90a70120 See sample how to change this here Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357042-alc287-no-internal-speakers-and-mics/#findComment-2807216 Share on other sites

cankiulascmnfye
@Crald This is the routing of your Audio Codec: I think you need to create your own AppleALC Layout. You can follow this guide to do so, if you are willing to invest the time and effort: https://github.com/5T33Z0/AppleALC-Guides Edited June 25, 2023 by cankiulascmnfye Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357042-alc287-no-internal-speakers-and-mics/#findComment-2807218 Share on other sites
LZMAX
Someone used layout-id 21 in Lenovo Legion 5-15ACH6A - Ryzen 5600H. https://github.com/kalkmann/Legion-5600H-Hackintosh Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357042-alc287-no-internal-speakers-and-mics/#findComment-2807731 Share on other sites
