Lissol Posted April 9, 2023 Share Posted April 9, 2023 Hi. I know its old but I connect my first old disc with 10.8.5 and try to do Lilu+Alc as in Mojave and HS. Always no devices found. Reading a lot, I suspect about the ML kernel (12.6). I think the min Kernel for Alc662 is 13 . Is that right? Could that be solved? Thanks. shl628 Posted April 10, 2023 Share Posted April 10, 2023 (edited) It could be an IRQ conflict issue on the HPET Device. If you use Clover, try setting FixHPET, FicRTC, FixIPIC and FixTMR to True in ACPI - DSDT - Fixes. Edited April 11, 2023 by shl628 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lissol Posted April 11, 2023 Author Share Posted April 11, 2023 (edited) Hi: Thanks shl628. I´ll try. I tell about Kernel issue because I found a little peace of AlC662 code. And I don't see anything about Kernel12. Sorry I don´t understand coding. But it seems to me Patches to all kernels, 12 not: ( Maybe its imposible to work).Sorry if not. <key>Patches</key> <array> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>xgYASIu/aAE=</data> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>18</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>xgYBSIu/aAE=</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>QcYGAEmLvCQ=</data> <key>MaxKernel</key> <integer>13</integer> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>13</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>QcYGAUmLvCQ=</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>QcYGAEiLu2g=</data> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>14</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>QcYGAUiLu2g=</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>QcaGQwEAAAA=</data> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>13</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>QcaGQwEAAAE=</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>2</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>hQjsEA==</data> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>13</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>AAAAAA==</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>2</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>hAjsEA==</data> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>13</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>AAAAAA==</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>2</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>hBnUEQ==</data> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>13</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>YgbsEA==</data> </dict> <dict> <key>Count</key> <integer>2</integer> <key>Find</key> <data>gxnUEQ==</data> <key>MaxKernel</key> <integer>15</integer> <key>MinKernel</key> <integer>15</integer> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data>AAAAAA==</data> </dict> </array> Edited April 22, 2023 by Slice Too long post edited to Code Block Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lissol Posted April 23, 2023 Author Share Posted April 23, 2023 It seems that the only solution to use AppleALC for ALC662 in 10.8 is to modify the code itself. Thanks to all. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
