niteman1969
Hi People, does anyone know of a usb wireless adapter that I can use in Jaguar or Panther that Just works or needs very little editing? Or can anyone help me with getting a linksys wusb11 v2.8 to work I have the instructions and link to a download where you have to edit a package but am not quite sure how to edit even after reading the instructions. This is meant to be a christmas present for my sister a g3 600mhz with 512mb ram and a 40gb hdd. It came with panther and Jaguar discs. If anyone could be so kind to edit the packages for me it would be wonderful. Anyhow the instructions are here http://dekstop.de/weblog/2006/10/linksys_wusb11_28_on_osx/ The drivers are attached to this post. or a link is available at the bottom of the above website. If anyone could edit the 10.2 and 10.3 packages for me I would be eternally grateful as well as the application package. I know it would take you apple gurus less than a couple of minutes. But it is quite an unknown for me, I only just managed to get my hackintosh working with step by step instructions on how to edit kexts etc. Editing packages is an unknown. My vendor id shown in panther is 1915 My Product id shown in panther is 8729 If anyone could do this it would be amazing It would be even more wonderful if it could be sent to my gmail account ready to install or even better would be to attach the edited driver to a reply on here so that everyone who buys this cheap adapter can use it. For anyone else who wants to try this adapter they are currently available at www.morgancomputers.co.uk for less than 10 uk pounds. n1teman1969@gmail.com Many Thanks in advance Niteman1969 XN2122b_MAC_Driver_20040504.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35600-imac-g3-alternative-to-airport/ Share on other sites
