Advocate_HF
Hi I have successfuly installed Monterey on ESXi 8. I want to install Opencore and then upgrade Monterey to Ventura and see if I can get around the boot loop issue with AMD - I'm running 3950x CPU. The problem I am having is that the opencore boot picker is not showing, i applied the vault and secure boot fixes to the plist but it still doesnt want to show the boot menu. This is what I have done so far so please tell me if I am missing something obvious. 1.) Download OC and copied EFI folder to EFI partition 2.) Used the sample plist and copied it to EFI OC as config.plist 3.) Added lilu and virtualsmc kexts 4.) Added hfsplus driver 5.) Changed vault and secureboot settings in OC\misc\security as per oc troubleshooting guide Is there anything else i need drive/kext/config to get the boot picker to show on my ESXi VM and also boot Ventura without boot loop issue? Thank you! Edited February 10, 2023 by Advocate_HF typos Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/355639-opencore-amd-and-esxi/ Share on other sites
