bobbee12 Posted October 18, 2022 Share Posted October 18, 2022 Used a guide from this link:https://manjaro.site/install-macos-catalina-hackintosh-on-amd-fx-8350-with-opencore-0-5-9/. Used the files from that build as it was also a 970 board(gigabye). Everything is fine except sound. Spend days looking for info and am thinking I need to lose the voodooHDA kext and replace with appleALC since native sound is realtek alc1150 hd7.1. I cant find what i need to edit the config.plist and remove voodoo and replace with appleALC and a quide on how to do it. hoping for insite here before i resort to rebuilding the whole system.
