elfdood
I am looking for a cheap inexpensive video card that will give me QE/CI, I am completely baffled by all this stuff I have successfuly installed MACOS 10.4.7 then updated to 10.4.8 on my Laptop (Dell B130/1300) with great results (Great video but No Sound) and I am enjoying it thoroughly. I tried to install onto my Desktop (SSE3 Socket 478) using my 9600pro all in wonder AGP, QE/CI is enabled but I get terrible arttifacts and crashes a lot So to my question...which of these cards would give me the best results....or is it worth pay a lil bit extra to get an X1600? gotoh
in PPC world, GeForce 6200 is a bit faster, despite its 64 bit mem interface. Best ones are XFX 6200 256Mb DDR2 low profile. Running fanless so its even better as you won't have any additional noise... 6200 is definately better for Core Image. gotoh
no ! don't take a LE, it has half the pipelines of a regular 6200, despite its DDR2. So it won't be very good. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814150107 this one is better or this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814133151 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35446-fx5500-or-geforece-6200/#findComment-252178 Share on other sites
