X1600 with borisbadenov problems (solved!)

Hi I've tried to install my graphic card with both Borisbadenov's method and with the Neopheus installer (which is based on that very same method.) but I can't get it working!

 

When the drivers has been modified it boots to right before the login app shows up, but nothing happens, I'm left in the "terminal-like" enviroment.

I tried this with the goatsecx 10.4.6 DVD with and without 10.4.7 update. I also tried to install a copy of 10.4.5 but without different results.

 

Please help me out! I bought this gaphic card just because everyone said it works great in OSX..

 

My system:

AMD 64 3500+

DFI Infinity RS482 (motherboard)

Gigabyte X1600PRO SilentPipe II 256MB PCI-E

edit: I tried both DVI and VGA ports. I really need DVI support though..can't use my Cinema display with vga.

 

EDIT2: I am now the happiest guy in the world I updated to the latest BIOS and installed OSX 10.4.8 AMD SSE3 w/ PPF2 and now I have fully supported graphics! I'm so glad I didn't have to change my mobo since I've fallen in love with alll the different BIOS settings and features.
