Lez Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 So what's the right way to get them to work on my card? I have tried koverg and callisto and now that "doe.sh" but none of they did work. After doe.sh, system info says that I have no kext loaded. So can someone please tell me the right way to do it? EDIT: Now I'm getting this with cal8 and koverg: Radeon X850 SE (AGP): Chipset Model: Radeon X850 SE (AGP) Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x4b4b Revision ID: 0x0000 Displays: Acer AL1714: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Is the problem with AGP or just the drivers? It won't detect my other display either, but this is a great progress now... ffosilva Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 try to use 10.4.4 ATIRadeon9700*kexts, opengl.framework n' quartz*.framework; and apply koverg method. it worked fine on my system (ati x550). backup your kexts and frameworks before do it.
