I am a noob with all of this but did manage to get OSX 10.4.6 installed. As you can see from my signature I'm having issues with a few things that seem to be common amounts people such as myself.

I would greatly appreciate any help people are willing to offer in terms of getting some of these hardware pieces to work.

Right now I have 2 PC's and a laptop. One PC I'm comfortable with dedicating to be a Hackintosh without concern of it being able to boot windows. I really need sound, and smooth graphics as I am a graphic designer/photographer by trade.

What I was thinking might help make things easier with minimal issues would simply be to buy a Mac PCI Express Card such as one you can find on macmall.com but don't want to buy it only to find out it wont install on a PC properly even if it is running with OSX86.

I was wondering has anyone tried this? If so, has it worked? If not, is it possible?

For example, and I'm just throwing this one out here for the sake of argument would this one work based on my board specs below?

If it does, wouldn't it make more sense and create less agrivation if people just did this?

I'm guessing it probably doesn't work which is why I haven't read anything on here yet of anyone saying to just do this instead.

Anyway, all feedback is appreciated, and if anyone can help me with screen resolution with an ATI Radeon PCI Express 512mb DDR2 x1300 card to work properly as well as my onboard sound, or alternate solution for sound I would be most grateful.

Thanks for reading!!

Any Thoughts on using the Hawking USB Wireless internet adapter with my setup for internet/network capabilities?

I just haven't had much luck finding any type of driver support for my hardware (in my signature below) that will support what I have installed.

I've checked here, read many many nights and hours, was referred to here:

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...Drivers#Network

which doesn't have much that would work for me except maybe sound but even there I'm not sure if I need the Realtek ALC882 or the Sigmatel 9223 driver. How would I be able to tell which one works? I tried the one also from this site thats an autoinstall for the ATI x1600 and "potential other 1000" series drivers which crashed my install. I had to re-install it. I suppose it doesn't help either that I'm pretty lost on how these are installed and permissions are changed etc...

I realize it is asking a lot, but if anyone reads this thread sees my signature, and has some suggestions or thoughts of where I can find what I need I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you all for reading, and any help you might be able to give.
