uggh
Having used bootcamp XP & OSX on macbook pro for 6 months using MACdrive 6 in XP to se OSX files , but dont normally shuffle any files in between running AVG free edition in XP (scanning all drives) now.. 2 times my OSX partition has been "lost" and I can no longer boot up OSX.. both times I can still see the partition and files with MACdrive but first time MACdrive complain that partition is corrupt... I run disk utility from startup disk who complaints on a "sibling" error that cannot be repaired.. the first time I reinstalled all OSX again.. but since it is happening again I am started to get a bit frustrated.. anyone know a solution for this or should I just use the old OSX partition for windows as well? regards Ulf Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35285-osx-stops-booting-sibling-drive-problem/ Share on other sites
luisabdoncifuentes
Some problem! My macbook pro (running MacDrive too) won't book OSX. I started with the simple system (apple-S) then run "fsck -f". It found errors but could not repair them! Very frustating, since I am travelling and don't have the OSX disks with me. Any help will be appreciated! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35285-osx-stops-booting-sibling-drive-problem/#findComment-254692 Share on other sites
