Sidecar black screen x99 platform

please tell me if there is a solution to the problem with a black screen when using Sidecar (on xeon processors that do not have igpu)?
Video card rx580, smbios tried to install iMac19,1 and add bootargs shiki-id=Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94 shikigva=40
But it did not help.
Videoproc with smbios iMacPro1,1 shows all the checkboxes, the indicator is green. If you put iMac19,1 then there is not a single checkmark

AFAIK an iGPU is required to get Sidecar going. Macs without an iGPU (e.g. imacpro1,1) use their T2 for the video encryption.

This is to be expected:

1. The whatevergreen doc is not very clear about this in spite of my attempts to change the wording it on github... SInce Big Surm, shiki is completely deprecated. It is not that "support is not planned". It is fully and completely disabled and deprecated.

2. When moving to an iMac SMBIOS, MacOS expects an iGPU. Sidecar requires an iGPU or a T2 chip. Running on a dGPU is very glitchy but you can try by forcing the AppleGVA to run on AMD using the following terminal command:

 

defaults write com.apple.AppleGVA gvaForceAMDKE -boolean yes

but I would expect that you would run into some issues with any video processing done without appleGVA.

thanks, it helped, but it only works via cable and very poor quality. apparently you need to switch to a processor with igpu
