spam1
Hi I have looked through the forum and found plenty of discussion around getting an Aquantia (AQC-107) based 10gb PCI ethernet card going on a hackintosh. Has anyone got it working on a Mac Pro 5 1? I have set the ForceAquantiaEthernet to True and DisableIOMapper to False. This allows the card to be seen and added in the control panel. Problem is it wont acquire an IP number and even if I set a manual IP number (entry shows green and link is up at 10gb) it wont communicate. Has anyone got it going? How? Thanks 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/352164-aquantia-working-on-a-monterey-124-oclp-046-mac-pro-5-1/ Share on other sites
Alex mome
We are in the same boat. I got the Aquantia card working in 12.2 but it won't do its job in 12.3 or 12.4 on my MacPro 5.1. Tried the same settings and got the same results as posted above. PS: Cards with the AQC-107S chipset (like Sonnet Solo10G PCIe) seem to work. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253782051 Edited July 11, 2022 by Alex mome Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/352164-aquantia-working-on-a-monterey-124-oclp-046-mac-pro-5-1/#findComment-2788695 Share on other sites
Alex mome
Update (still trying to get that card to work): On macos 12.6 with oc 0.8.0 and oclp 0.4.11 and ForceAquantiaEthernet=true DisableIOMapper=false my AQC-107-Card is not working properly. I can see it, but it never gets a working connection. On macos 12.2 with the same exact oc and oclp versions and settings it works.
