maca1
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. I've recently installed MAC OS X 10.4.8 by Jas on my HP Pavillion S7630 Installation runs smoothly and I have no problem booting after installation. only I appear to have encountered a few problems. 1. I have no ethernet (Intel Pro/100 VE), I've found the HOWTO on that subject and I'm going to try it out tonight when I get home... so more on that later.. B. I have no audio (Realtek ALC883), found a forum on that too only no success on solving the issue after going through the guide...for more details on that (to anyone who might be able to help, please check the concerning forum on this site). and F. and this is a pain.. I seem to be experiencing some graphical issues..when I drag a window or scroll down or whatnot the whole thing screws up..i have to minimize the window and maximize it again for normal viewing but as soon as I drag or scroll again same thing happens... I don't know if it has anything to do with my graphics card and I hope some god in here can help me out. for full details on my machine please see: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...5729&dlc=en Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35205-graphic-issues-when-scrolling-1048/ Share on other sites

TheDynamo
Hi, if you are using the Semthex kernel you need to upgrade the kernel to the latest version: local 8.8.1 Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1: Mon Nov 27 18:58:11 AZOT 2006; semthex:/nebukadnezar/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386 i386 This fixed the problem with minimizing screens and scroll problems viewing screens! This has made it more usable as I cannot get my Geforce 7900 gtx go card working http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=33039 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35205-graphic-issues-when-scrolling-1048/#findComment-315694 Share on other sites
