Kernal Panic Installing macOS Moneterey 12.4 : Help to rectify the computer

Hi , 

 

I have installed the MacOS Monterey on the my computer. It was a successful installation.  Post install there is a kernel Panic. I am unable to identify the problem. Any help will be appreciated. 

I have a Triple boot on the computer with the same EFI being used for macOS Catalina, MacOS BigSur, macOS Catalina 

CPU : Intel i4570 

Ram : 32 GB 

iGPU : Intel HD 4600 

dGPU : Nvidia 710, Nvdia 730 

Wifi : USB Dongle, 

Sound : VoodooHDA 

Lenovo M93p Medium Desktop. 

Board : Haswell with Intel iGPU 4600 

 

Installation method used is Oralia Haswell Laptop EFI I have modified as per the computer requirement.

u have many unnecessary bootargs for ur hardware

remove it, reset nvram and check

other problem. nvidia lose support on monterey u need use mod driver for that. not good

stay on bigsur and check if work good

I removed all the boot flags and reinstall the OS It was successful. but once I installed the graphics card etc it got problems

use bigsur with vanilla things. nvidia die on monterey and need drivers from. bigsur

Well BigSur is working properly. Also I had installed the Chris111 Geforce patch on Monterey. it had installed. after that this nightmare

I am successful in installing in the MacOS Monterey successfully. I was getting confused with the Pre and Post EFI partition which have been rectified. I am not going to install the sound drivers since the sound is the main culprit of the MacOS Monterey everything rest is working properly now. Than you for the guidance.

Lenovo M93P use ALC662, you need AudioDxe.efi, AppleALC.kext and bootargs alcid=11. works for me

My Codec is Realtek ALC662 @MaLd0n. I am going to give it a try with those boot flags and audio method.

@madlon I have tried all the ALC Layout ID from 0 to 66 , It don't work

to fix this without reinstall you need to boot (off for example big sur) or internet recovery with ssv support, local recovery etc then remake the cache and/or bless/snapshot like in this thread

the cause is maybe cloned drive both booting at the same time (same apfs container uuid)
