My x99-UD5 with Broadwell-E i7-6900k has been working perfectly with GTX760 kepler on macOS Big Sur. I've been waiting for a long time until now macOS Monterey 12.3.1 to install it. With the new Monterey, I had to use OpenCore 0.8 with new opencanopy.efi folder to display correctly. I prefer Clover V5146 like all my laptops, but this one doesn't seem to work. I'll try it later. All problems come from the new config.plist, so I attached the configmonx99_sample.plist for you to use if you have the same setup. All the kexts should be on the internet, I attached the pictures of the folders with the files that need to be downloaded.

On Monterey, my GTX760 no longer work, it's only support 7M of video ram, so I need to use the R9-280 for it to work properly, but still hang once in a while with videos.

As long as you download the opencore .8 with all the files in it, all the kexts in the kernel turned on and the config.plist and you're good to go, make sure you have the graphic card supported.

I also use the DW1820a that I bought for $20 for WiFi and Bluetooth, they work perfectly.

Here is my EFI folder for i7-6900k running Monterey.

x99_efi.zip 9.36 MB · 24 downloads

Thanks for sharing, fingers crossed this is close enough to my board (confidence is high that it wont be a problem) because I have unfortunately very little time and havent done this since at least 2016.

I'll be working with E5-2695v4 + UD4P

My little Mac Mini 2018 held it's own for a long time, but the iGPU cant handle my 4k 5k setup
