Hello everyone.

I've recently installed macOs Monterey on my Dell XPS 13 9360. I've used an EFI from a guy with the same config (i7-8550u-uhd620). Everything seems to work fine except one thing: the laptop sometimes shuts down just after login if it's battery powered. When plugged in this does not happen. (Before all of you saying "you used a pre made efi!!!! you should build one yourself!!!!" I already did a very basic efi, with everything necessary to boot. But the problem keeps happening.

Then if I go into the bios -> power events, I can see the following error: ASF2 Force Off

Note that this is not happening with Windows. From terminal I've seen that the shutsdown have code 5, so a normal shutdown.

I'll leave a link for downloading the EFI and DiagnosticReport Folder, where I can see many shutdown stall logs. (too large to upload on the forum)

Also don't worry about serial numbers, I didn't use any iService and I will change it once (hopefully) it works.

Thanks in Advance!

Hello, thanks for the EFI, I'll test in this following days as the problem seems to be less present, but it keeps happening every once in a while.

Hello, I tested it and got it to start after 3 trials. Ioreg attached.

With my efi it's happening a lot less, like 1/10 times.

Well, I think I figured out what's wrong. I tought the bios battery was fine because when mesuring it with a multimeter (3V). After one of this suddent shutdowns I measured it again and it was 0,1V. So the battery was charging but cannot provide any power. Seems like windows can handle this scenario while macOS just shutsdown.
