MacBook Pro's Auto Dark Mode is always changes much later than my iPhone and iPad despite same settings

It's 8 p.m., the sun has set, and it's completely dark, but yet I'm still in Light Mode. Auto Dark Mode seems to not change when you're in full screen. In my iPad, I'll be watching a Twitch stream, and have to flick auto on and off again for it to switch, but yet on my MacBook Pro, auto dark mode still doesn't change. Is it just me that has this problem? Maybe it's because I'm not on m1 and still on a 2017 intel MacBook, but haven't seen anyone complain about this yet.

It's really annoying and I just wish it worked correctly.
