Oyku Posted December 10, 2021 Share Posted December 10, 2021 Hello I've tried to install MacOs Monterey using recovery files com.apple.recovery.boot but also flashing image. The problem is EFI file boots to installer but it's very distorted, I see 8 apple logos and installing is impossible like that. (Btw no I don't have hdmi cable to plug a monitor) I've done config file many times, checked with Sanity checker all green checkmarks but here is my specifications and files: Hp Envy 15 Notebook Pc IntelCore i7-4510U 2GHZ (4CPUs) ~2.6GHZ (Haswell) 16 gb ram DirectX 12 Gpu Nvidia Gtx 850M EFI File : https://www.mediafire.com/folder/qrbihq6ihex2v/EFI link to the picture: https://imgur.com/a/ZIC1Hlf This is my first Hackintosh so I'm sorry if I'll be asking stupid questions, but thanks for any help. Oyku Posted December 12, 2021 Author Share Posted December 12, 2021 Thanks enabling CSM (Legacy boot) actually worked, however I got other problem. I've added AirportItl.kext to the kexts folder and config but I don't see a wifi icon in the recovery mode which is necessary to get wifi and download macOS files. Brightness keys also doesn't seem to work but not sure if u can change brightness in the installer. I don't know what's the problem but could be also something with kernel that kexts doesn't load but it wouldn't boot then so I'm asking for help. As I said I don't see wifi icon while booting to the installer and because of that I cannot connect to wifi and install macOS from recovery. Do you know what's the problem?
