openbysource
Hello, I have a installed version of JaS 10.4.7. It is working just fine. I can surf internet, watch videos, play music, have all the graphics feature and it's really nice. But the problem is no sound is coming out of the speaker. I have a laptop (lenovo 3000N100) with intel 950GMA and SoundMax integrated high definiation audio. I thought my sound problem might be solved if I install 10.4.8 JaS intel sse3 patched dvd. So I downloaded. First of all I want to say it's really slow download (no seeders). After a hard work of 15 days I got the image and when I tried booting from it, it showed up "Kernel Panic" on some IOPCard something. I tried to install via vmware but it showed me "Kernel stack fault" I tried to change the virtual machine name to FreeBSD to WinNT but nothing helped me. Now I am stucked up completely. Don't know where to go. I have 10.4.7 and 10.4.8. 10.4.7 is working but sound is not there and 10.4.8 is not even booting. Help me out. I want to use MACOSX. Rammjet
You may be downloading the wrong iso if there are no seeders. Follow the 10.4.8 link in my signature to get name of correct iso. Need to know the vendor id and device id of BOTH audio chips. Follow the Azalia link in my signature and use the Appendix at the bottom of the guide to get the values.
