ventoy is another bootloader, which has a good feature, that it can boot a linux system installed in a vDisk file. see https://www.ventoy.net/en/plugin_vtoyboot.html

This feature works well, when I use ventoy as primary bootloader.

But when I use ventoy as sub-bootloader booted by OpenCore, the entry of linux vDisk file booted by ventoy doesn't work. There's something wrong when booting

Ventoy also provides an extension plugin -- vdiskchain for other bootloaders to boot  linux vDisk file.

If I add a vdiskchain entry on OpenCore directly with arguments  vdisk=/Images/Ubuntu_Focal_Fossa/Ubuntu_Focal_Fossa.vmdk.vtoy (the path is where my vDisk file placed). When booting the entry, it gives the same error code as on the picture above.

And if I add a vdiskchain entry on OpenCore directly with arguments  vdisk=\Images\Ubuntu_Focal_Fossa\Ubuntu_Focal_Fossa.vmdk.vtoy (the path use backslash). When booting the entry, it gives another error code.

Is there any possible to support booting linux vDisk with OpenCore ?
