Hello,

Bluetooth works and I can see my wifi network, yet if I turn off the LAN, I have no connectivity to the internet. This can't be an ISP problem because all my other devices work including this device while using ethernet.

Background: I've recently updated my CPU and motherboard to a 5800X and an ASUS X570-P mobo. I've installed the kexts listed in this post here. Wifi worked before the upgrade.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My EFI

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Mobo: Asus X570-P

BT/Wifi: TP Link Archer TX50E

LAN: RealtekRTL8111 (Should I be using different? This Mobo can support up to 10Gpbs)

GPU: Radeon RX580

BootLoader: OpenCore 0.7.5

It was DHCP initially. No luck trying manual configuration supplying the gateway IP. I no longer have the "!", but if I turn off the ethernet interface, I get no internet, likewise, I can't get into the gateway management page.

Pinging on wifi doesn't work either:

ping 192.168.192.1
PING 192.168.192.1 (192.168.192.1): 56 data bytes
ping: sendto: No route to host
ping: sendto: No route to host
Request timeout for icmp_seq 0
ping: sendto: No route to host
Request timeout for icmp_seq 1
ping: sendto: No route to host
Request timeout for icmp_seq 2

Wifi.log from the console is here. I have no experience looking at these, but a recurring item is:

<kernel> AirportItlwm::getSSIDData(): Get failure: APPLE80211_IOC_SSID: -536870212

Don't really know what that means or if it's relevant.

So I'm getting conflicting info here. The network manager says "Wifi is turned on but is not connected to a network". If I click the "no internet connection" in the applet in the menu bar, I get "Your Mac successfully joined the Wi-Fi network, but cannot reach the internet." See images.

It doesn't seem like I'm connected to wifi as I can't access anything on the intranet without the ethernet connection. Also if I change to DHCP, I don't get an IP address.

Ok, so I updated the kext. I realized the initial post was linking to old releases. That fixed all my wifi issues and broke my bluetooth :wallbash:

Updated bluetooth kexts to 2.0.0, still no card recognition for that.

Thanks for chatting through that with me
