bobble999
Hi all, Its been a while since I last setup OC on a machine - tried to make use of a small form mobo (GA-Z170N-Gaming5) and I cannot get it to work for the life of me. Frustrating because my other rig (GA-Z390) went flawlessly I've followed the guide, got what I believe are the correct kexts, picked the relevant SDST files and also generated the USBMap.kext file after running USBMap.command, etc. Despite this - reading and re-reading the guide; https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ I cannot get OC to present/see my "Install big sur" USB drive as a choice - despite the fact OC is booting from the EFI section of the USB drive?! I've attached my config.plist in the hope someone can point out what must be a glaring omission. Build spec is listed in my sig file Thanks in advance for any help config.plist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/349512-unable-to-get-oc-to-see-my-big-sur-install-or-any-other-drives/ Share on other sites
miliuco
@bobble999 Try HfsPlus.efi instead of OpenHfsPlus.efi. It's available here: https://github.com/acidanthera/OcBinaryData The macOS version present in the USB is Big Sur, right? 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/349512-unable-to-get-oc-to-see-my-big-sur-install-or-any-other-drives/#findComment-2771045 Share on other sites
