mengshi
Running system as in profile. Successful update to Monterrey but frequent crashes. Working perfectly but random crashes - appears to be preceded by ? USB issues - USB mouse/keyboard dim and the freeze, followed by a reboot/crash. Sometimes mouse will freeze and needed a reboot. Does not matter if my mouse/keyboard is plugged into motherboard or the Dell monitor USB hub (Have read has some USB hub issues with Monterrey) back to Big Sur. First time has upgrade issues. Was over confident and didn't backup..... Will try a fresh install on a separate SSD later. Has there been any change in the security feature ? mengshi
[SOLVED] Fixed USB using CorpNewt's USBMap. No issue and very stable. Did a fresh install though. For those using USBMap and found that some of your case front USB ports are not detected, you need to shut down, unplug and replug the motherboard connection of these. (Believe it or not this is the way!)
