osc
Alright. I have a 160 gig hard drive that I will be useing as my main drive. I plan on installing copies of XP. One for gaming, one for media creation. A copy of vista. A copy of Ubuntu. And a copy of OSX X86. The question I have, if anyone is willing to help, is how big should I make the partition size for OSX? What's the smallest you can do it? Also I know that the smallest would not be ideal, so lets say I wanted to install a good handful of programs... how big should I make it? I will be keeping my media ( music, pictures, videos) on two external 250 gig hard drives, so I don't have to worry about media storage size. If your able to help, I would be very thankful. Thank you very much, OSC Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34941-minimum-partition-size/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
6 GB would be minimal - 20 GB is better - even more is best (a few apps can be several GB with libraries, etc) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/34941-minimum-partition-size/#findComment-248059 Share on other sites
