Hi guys hackintosh newbie here

ok so I am an old Mac user and windows user,

and a front-en developer wanabee, still kickin my can over javascript

 

I had this awkward idea to build my own Mac Os workstation, you know...

I also do some video edit, and Mac computers are good tools for this.

 

I could have bought an Imac (refurbished) but I might ran into the evidence

that cheap Imacs are overheating while editing video...

 

AND my old Imac decided it had enough of overheating 3 days ago,

which left me with my PC alone to set things into motion.

 

So, my Hackintosh will be built on a MSI Z390 A pro MB,

i5 9600K 3.7 cpu,

2*16 GB DDR SDRAM,

AMD radeon RX 5700XT

and Samsung SSD 970 500gb M2 drive (hopefully)

Well I cleaned a lot believe me, I maxed the RAM and plugged a top level SSD years ago, and this 2008 Imac worked fine until it decided it's outdated ;.)

Something probably went wrong with the graphic card cooling system, or the SSD has been running for too long I don't know yet

Hello. I'm using an i7-8700. The ATX case is versatile, so I've been using the same case for 15 years. (smile)

Air cooling unexpectedly sucks dust. Also, the grease on each heat sink is getting harder, so it doesn't seem to be good.

The air cooling of the case of the type shown now (because there are many cavities inside) is very good.

I bought it for the first time in 15 years. (smile)
